Chrysler built its reputation on the minivan - a segment it created 43 years ago. The 2027 Pacifica picks up that legacy with a refreshed front end that signals where the brand is headed. This is the first major exterior update since the current generation launched, bringing a technical, modern character that changes how the Pacifica looks and feels on the road.
The centrepiece is the new illuminated Chrysler wing badge. On Limited and Pinnacle trims, the Pacifica wakes up with a welcome animation - the centre lamp, signature lights, and wing badge illuminate first, followed by the "piano key" accents at each corner. A coordinated animation marks the end of the drive.
The Design That Sets the Tone
The 2027 Pacifica introduces vertical LED headlamps - a sharp departure from previous models. These new projector headlamps deliver a 17% improvement in maximum reach, which matters on rural highways and unlit roads. The "piano key" accents frame the grille and create a sculptural, layered look. A redesigned rear lightbar applique and updated wing badge create a cohesive signature from front to back. The popular S Appearance Package offers a blacked-out version for buyers who want a more aggressive stance.
Eight distinct wheel designs are available, including new 18- and 20-inch options for Limited and Pinnacle. The 2027 model debuts Olive Green, a rich, organic hue that joins the existing palette. Additional colours - Ember, Glass Grey, and Steel Blue - will be late-availability options.
Power and Capability
The heart of the Pacifica remains the award-winning 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 engine, paired with a segment-exclusive TorqueFlite nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain delivers 287 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque - enough for confident highway merging and passing with a full load of passengers and gear.
Pacifica's intelligent AWD system can send 100% of available engine torque to the rear wheels or to the wheels with the most grip. When AWD is not needed, the system completely disconnects the power-transfer unit and rear drive module, reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency. AWD is available on Select and Limited trims and standard on Pinnacle.
For families who tow, the available Trailer Tow Group offers a competitive towing capacity of 3,600 lb (1,632 kg) - enough to pull a small camper, jet skis, or a utility trailer loaded with weekend gear.

Stow 'n Go: Still the Only One

For more than 20 years, the Stow 'n Go seating and storage system has remained one of Chrysler's most defining innovations. The 2027 Pacifica continues to be the only minivan in the segment to offer second- and third-row seats that fold flat into the floor. This creates a flat load surface with 3,964 litres of cargo space - enough for a full renovation supply run, a weekend camping trip, or a move to a new apartment.
When seats are deployed, the under-floor bins provide additional storage for groceries, sports equipment, or road-trip essentials. The 2027 Pacifica is also the only minivan to offer available AWD with second- and third-row Stow 'n Go seating on Select and Limited trims. Pinnacle models feature standard third-row Stow 'n Go seating with removable second-row seats - a layout that accommodates the Pinnacle trim's larger integrated Ultra Console and premium captain's chairs.
Safety and Technology
The 2027 Pacifica introduces enhancements to the Safety Sphere Package, which is optional on Select and Limited and standard on Pinnacle. The new turn signal-activated Blind-spot View displays a live camera feed on the centre touchscreen when the turn signal is engaged. ParkSense-based camera activation automatically triggers the appropriate camera view when sensors detect an object during low-speed manoeuvres.
These upgrades join a comprehensive suite including a 360-degree surround view camera and front/rear park assist with stop. Standard on all trims, the new adjustable-height power liftgate allows customers to set how high the liftgate opens to avoid low-clearance obstacles like home garage ceilings or parking decks.
The 2027 Pacifica debuts a more flexible tech strategy with the decoupling of the Uconnect Theatre Group and the newly named Family Tech Group. Families can now choose the features that matter most - whether that is Amazon Fire TV built-in, FamCAM interior camera monitoring, premium audio, or additional power outlets - without paying for a bundled package.
The Pinnacle Interior
The 2027 Chrysler Pacifica debuts a new Blue Agave Nappa leather interior, exclusive to the Pinnacle model. This deeply saturated, rich colour provides a contemporary alternative to traditional tans and blacks. The seats feature an all-new Parquet perforation pattern, while exclusive Sol Stopper copper accent stitching carries across the seats, instrument panel, doors, and armrests.
Pinnacle interior features include the Ultra Console, which smoothly pairs into the instrument panel and offers dual-level storage with a large pass-through underneath. Premium third-row sunshades, upgraded floor mats, and additional soft-touch materials throughout the cabin enhance every passenger's experience. Copper Alloy accents highlight the HVAC bezels and door elements, replacing traditional chrome with a richer, warmer sense of depth.
Why the 2027 Pacifica Distinguishes Itself
The 2027 Pacifica brings a modern, technical design language that serves as a blueprint for the next generation of Chrysler vehicles. The illuminated wing badge, vertical LED headlamps, and piano key grille signature create a distinctive presence. The segment-exclusive Stow 'n Go seating system, available AWD with second-row Stow 'n Go, and competitive towing capacity make the Pacifica the most versatile minivan for Ontario families who need space, capability, and confidence in all weather conditions.
